WA State Trail Bike Strategy

The State Trail Bike Strategy is being developed to identify the issues surrounding the use of trail bikes in metropolitan and regional areas and to propose recommendations for change that will address the needs of trail bike riders, land managers, residents and other stakeholders involved in this issue.

The Draft Strategy was released for Public Comment in December 2007 and the feedback received is currently being reviewed.  It is anticipated that the final version of the Strategy will be released in March.

There are several documents available for download:

The WA State Trail Bike strategy is an initiative of the Recreational Trailbike Riders’ Association of WA and Motorcycling WA.

It is funded by the Department of Sport and Recreation,  the Department of Environment and Conservation, the Department for Planning and Infrastructure and the Department of Local Government and Regional Development.

 

Trail Bike Management Australia Pty Ltd is undertaking the consultation and developing the strategy.
